As we all know by now, Nick Adenhart was tragically killed in a 3 car crash early Thursday morning.    Darren O’Day a new addition to the Mets bullpen this season was a former teammate and friend to Adenhart.  According to David Lennon at Newsday, O’day was on the verge of breaking down after hearing the news only an hour before yesterdays matinee affair with the Reds.   O’Day came in the game yesterday to relieve Ollie Perez.  He allowed one hit and hit a batter in 2/3 of an inning.   Was it the right time for Manuel to use him?  I know he is a proffesional athlete, but how are you supposed to go out and do your job after hearing such horrific news?
