According to reports in today’s New York Post, Carlos Beltran has been advised to see Dr. Steadman to seek a second opinion on his bruised knee.  Dr. Richard Steadman is the innovator of the microfracture surgery.  He has treated athletes of all sports to both successful and unsuccessful returns.  If Beltran chooses to get this microfracture surgery it would definitley be the end of this season and possibly beyond. 

Once I saw the cover of the New York Post this morning, my stomach dropped.  Than I realized that even though Beltran is in Vail to see Dr. Steadman, this is the NY Post reporting that his career could be over, so I paid no attention to it.  Scary though though.
