Yes! We didn’t get shut out. It has got to the point where we have to celebrate scoring a run in a game. Who says I am a pessimet, I am looking at the bright side of things, we scored a run (without an RBI of course)! Cory Sullivan, Angel Berroa and Fernando Tatis made up a third of the lineup tonight, no that’s not the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons.
Mike Pelfrey bounced back with a decent outing allowing three runs over seven innings. Pelfrey has been mediocre at best this season. I remember one of the keys to this season was how Pelfrey was going to pitch after winning thirteen games last year. Would he take a step forward or regress? To this point, it’s obvious he’s regressed. A disappointment to say the least. The lack of strikeouts is very disheartening as well.
The offense tonight, wait what offense? Not even worth discussing.
The frustration has even got to Luis Castillo. Castillo got tossed early, and it was the first ejection of his thirteen year career.
Another error by our Gold glove defensive upgrade in right field which cost the Mets a run in back to back games. Glady to see Frenchy is fitting in perfectly with this team.
Is this the new season low? Losing a series to a team that was 40 games below .500 and the worst team in baseball? I would say it is. It seems like wins and losses don’t mean anything any more. Feels like we’re just riding out the schedule with listless loss after listless loss.Cory Sullivan and Angel Berroa? Really? I said going into this series this team is not much better than the Nationals and we proved we’re actually worse. The Nationals offense is ten times better than the Mets offense right now. Six games under .500 and counting, first time since 2004. I guess we’ll get a better draft pick next year, unless we sign a Type A free agent. Geez, I’m already thinking about free agency and next season’s draft, this is bad.

Hope these former flat-tire changing Dominicans (Omar and company) from the Queens junkyard (behind SHITTY-field) get fucking fired soon. They keep buying useless players! Maybe they don’t want white players because neither Doc Halladay nor Matt Holliday nor Adam LaRoche nor Eric Hinske eat rice with beans AND talk broken english (A DEF MUST)!
Biggest difference for Francoeur between here and Atlanta that would degrade his defense? the Manager and how he prepares his team to play. I.E. badly.
haha…. rice and beans.
Mets suck
