The Mets will start their longest homestand of the season vs. the Giants tonight. The Mets have made some attempts to make CitiField seem more like home with new banners and pictures as Matt Cerrone has reported on MetsBlog. They’ve also added new video boards.
A little too late for me personally, as the season is over. I’m not spending money at this point to buy tickets (even at a 50% discount) to see a Quadruple-A lineup out there. I already bought tickets earlier this year, unfortuntately, for tomorrow’s game and next am going with friends next Friday vs. the Phillies. Although I am going tomorrow with my father, who has never been to CitiField, so at least we can walk around and explore when the game goes sour.
Here’s tonight’s lineup vs. the Giants and Zito. The Mets will wear throwback uniforms.
Pagan, Castillo, Wright, Sheffield, Francoeur, Tatis, Santos, Hernandez, Parnell
