Wright drew comparisons to another famous helmet wearer, Dark Helmet of Spaceballs!

Citing comfort and not the constant embarrassment and name calling at the hands of fans, teammates and players across the league, Wright has switched back to the normal batting helmet, he hasn’t ruled out the possibility of becoming Dark Helmet again next spring, but right now he won’t draw any comparisons to a World War II soldier.

“It’s just not comfortable,” Wright said. “The last thing I need to be worrying about in the box is trying to shove it on my head.”
