Mets go for Three

The Mets will look to win three in a row tonight behind Oliver Perez. It will be interesting to see how O.P. performs after coming off of that stellar performance in St. Louis. Old evil Ollie would lay an egg tonight, so let’s see how 2010 Ollie responds. A win tonight would be nice with Johan going tomorrow.

In other news, Ryota Igarashi has been placed on the DL with Manny Acosta called up to take his spot. Will it be Nieve or Feliciano as the primary set up man? Could we possibly see Jenrry Mejia take that role?? Speaking of bullpens, Carlos Zambrano of the Cubs has been moved to the Cubs bullpen in a set up role, in a somewhat surprising move.

Here’s tonight’s lineup, I would rather flip flop Castillo and Pagan:

Jose Reyes SS
Luis Castillo 2B
David Wright 3B
Jason Bay LF
Jeff Francoeur RF
Ike Davis 1B
Rod Barajas C
Angel Pagan CF
Oliver Perez P

I’d rather see Pagan hit higher up in the order as well, but at this point I’m just glad to see him and NOT Gary Matthews in the line-up.

If only Ollie could get six or seven good innings in.

This bullpen is going to wear out faster than a sorority girl’s box. And by worn out I mean like sleeve of wizard worn out.
